Facepalm: Ocasio-Cortez Said What About Climate Change...And Compared It To Which War?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has to be trolling us with this because there is no way someone can be this dense. She has equated her congressional election win to the moon landing, so oddball remarks are not out of the ordinary. She’s also for peddling trash economic policy, like Medicare for All, which is an economic death trap. Democrats, including Ocasio-Cortez, have zero clues for how to pay for it.  What it will do for sure is socialize the suffering that comes from far left economic agenda items. So, while we might have rationed, sub-par care, we call all wallow in misery, be it Bill Gates to your common street hobo. On climate change, she hit another grand slam.

Well, first last December she equated the fight to stop global warming to the civil rights movement. That’s an old comparison. It’s now just like fighting World War II and if we do nothing, everyone is going to die…forever…in 12 years (via Daily Caller):

“I think that the part of it that is generational is that millennials and people, in Gen Z, and all these folks that come after us are looking up and we’re like, the world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change. And your biggest issue is, your biggest issue is how are we going to pay for it? — and like this is the war, this is our World War II,” Ocasio-Cortez began.

Ocasio-Cortez has expressed her support for the Green New Deal. The deal would require the U.S. to completely get off fossil fuels within 10 years. It also calls for universal health care, basic income programs and job guarantees.

It’s not just conservatives calling her and her ilk out by the way. There’s a reason why Aaron Sorkin, a pretty hardcore liberal and proud Democrat, pretty much called the new crop of Democrats a bunch of idiots over the weekend.
