Feinstein A Fan of the Trump Admin's Actions Against Iran

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) does not agree with President Trump on a whole lot, but she supports his retaliatory action against Iran. The country defied a UN Security Council resolution last week when it tested ballistic missiles. As a result, the White House announced new sanctions on the Islamic regime. Feinstein told "Fox News Sunday's" Chris Wallace that that was an appropriate response.

"I think he is right in this. I think Iran in wrong in this," Feinstein said. "Let me be very clear. These are not nuclear ballistic missiles; they are conventional ballistic missiles, but Iran has a lot of them–more than anyone else in that area."

Iran has shown little in the way of cooperating with the UN's wishes, nor that of its nuclear agreement with the Obama administration. On the heels of its ballistic missile testing, the country is expected to receive over 100 tons of uranium.

Does that sound like a willing partner for peace?

With an election fast approaching in Iran, Feinstein openly mused whether the government was acting out for political reasons.
