Suspected 'Ringleader' of Paris Massacre Killed

This post has been updated.

More justice has been served in the aftermath of the shocking terror attack in Paris. We offered a brief profile of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the 28-year-old Belgian linked to ISIS and reported mastermind behind the massacre. It now seems French authorities have put an end to his murderous rampage.

The Washington Post has a detailed account of how Abaaoud was apprehended:

More than 100 police and soldiers stormed an apartment building in the suburb of Saint-Denis during a seven-hour siege that left two dead including the suspected overseer of the Paris bloodshed, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, a Belgian extremist who had once boasted he could slip easily between Europe and the Islamic State strongholds in Syria.

One more suspect remains at large.

Upwards of 130 people died in the terrorists' seven coordinated attacks in Paris Friday night. The Telegraph offers a thorough timeline of the tragedy as it unfolded.

This story will not end with the deaths of the terrorists directly involved in Friday's carnage. Outraged nations have already begun to increase military action against ISIS and weaken the terror cell as much as possible.
