Early Debate Preview

The undercard/kid's table/happy hour/non-front-runner debate will take begin at 7 p.m. Eastern, and will feature New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal. Christie and Huckabee were recently demoted from the "main stage" or "primetime" debates due to low poll numbers. Candidates George Pataki and Lindsey Graham were booted from the debates altogether as they have consistently polled at less than one percent.

Anyhow.

Barring a disaster of epic proportions, nobody who is partaking in tonight's first debate will win the Republican nomination for the 2016 election. It does not make sense to have these kinds of debates this late into the election season as it simply is wasting time.
