In Other News: French Satirists Have More Backbone than American Journalists

Here are some other highlights and headlines that I noticed over at Ransom Notes Radio:

The White House was reluctant to call the mass shooting in Paris a “terrorist” attack… I’m surprised they aren’t telling us this all started from a spontaneous protest over some obscure YouTube movie.

(Weekly Standard)

Howard Dean says we shouldn’t call the terrorists (who shot and killed a dozen people in Paris for making fun of the Prophet Mohammed) “Muslim” terrorists because Islam is a very peaceful religion, or something…

(Mediaite)

The New York Daily News has blurred out the image of Mohammed from the cover of the French humor magazine, Charlie Hebdo. Let me make this perfectly clear: A bunch of French satirists have more backbone than American journalists.

(Weasel Zippers)

A strong geomagnetic “storm” in space is currently hitting planet Earth. It’s unclear at this point how it could possibly be related to global warming, or George W Bush; but I’m sure some government-funded scientist is working it out as we speak.

(My Fox NY)

According to TIME, waiting in lines to go to the bathroom is sexist. (No… I’m not making this up.) It must be really tough stumbling through life as a perpetually offended liberal.

(Time)

Ezra Klein has predicted that, assuming economic conditions continue their current trajectory, Hillary Clinton will win 42 states in 2016. He knows this because his unicorn told him.
