No, I’m not kidding. Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) wants President-elect Donald J. Trump to nominate Hillary Clinton as U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Hey, it’s not like we have an election, where Clinton lost or anything (via The Hill):

President-elect Trump should consider her for the position," said Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), whose district includes Trump Tower in Manhattan. She added that Clinton "would make an excellent Ambassador to the United Nations."

Clinton "will never stop working," Maloney said. "She will always make a difference and will always be a part of the dialogue in a positive way to advance the values of America."

Moreover, Clinton continued to email classified information after leaving the State Department. There were legitimate questions as to whether she broke the law; she was the subject of an FBI investigation while running for president. It formed the crux of Republican attacks against her character concerning trust and honesty—and rightfully so. This was an unprecedented email system that ignored federal regulations concerning preserving communications of government officials. And we want this person back in government? I don’t think so. No way. Let’s get a grip, congresswoman.
