President Trump’s reelection campaign has benefitted from special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the Russia investigation, raking in over $1 million since the document’s release.

According to a text message from the campaign on Friday, more than $1.1 million had been raised.

“Sorry Trump haters. The biggest waste of money witch hunt in history is finally over,” the text says. “The attacks and lies will keep coming heading into 2020. That’s why we need to fight back bigger and stronger than ever before.”

Trump campaign COO Michael Glassner told The New York Post that the “Mueller news drove a 250 percent increase in fundraising from grassroots donors.”

One way the campaign cashed in on the report was through a video hitting critical Democrats.

“Now it’s time to investigate the investigators,” it said.

The video also asked supporters to check a page where they could donate $28 for a limited-edition “I SPY TRUMP TEE,” which pokes fun of President Barack Obama’s official painting — the one where he’s surrounded by plants — and instead shows Obama hiding in those bushes with binoculars spying on Trump.

The Trump campaign had already reported a $30.3 million haul for the first quarter of the year, nearly equal to the donations of top Democratic rivals Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris, who brought in $18.2 million and $12 million respectively. (NY Post)

While blasting parts of the report as "total builshi*t," President Trump has said it exonerates him as the investigation found no collusion or obstruction of justice.
