FEMA Called In To Manage Crisis of Children Being Dumped Illegally Over Border With Mexico

As amnesty talks between Democrats, Republicans and the White House heat up in Washington, 60,000 children have been dumped over the border between the U.S. and Mexico without an adult. Border Patrol and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents are overwhelmed. Last week we saw reports of ICE dumping illegal immigrants from Texas at bus stops in Arizona with hopes they'd eventually show up to scheduled immigration hearings in the future.

Now the problem is so out of control, FEMA is being called in to house children unaccompanied by adults.

President Barack Obama established an interagency group on Monday to handle the growing influx of children coming to the United States illegally without parents or relatives accompanying them.

In a memo that describes an "urgent humanitarian situation," Obama has put the Federal Emergency Management Agency in charge of coordinating humanitarian relief to the children, including housing, care, medical treatment and transportation.

The Obama administration estimates that about 60,000 "unaccompanied minors" - children under 18 - will enter the United States illegally this year. It projects that number to grow to nearly 130,000 next year.

As recently as 2011, the number was only some 6,000.

ICE is also delivering children directly to parents who have been living in the United States illegally for years.

I'll leave you with this.
