RINO Alert: Mitt Romney Endorses Minimum Wage Hike

In typical RINO fashion, Mitt Romney has made a new statement that basically defies everything he stood for as the Republican presidential candidate in 2012. In an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning, Mitt Romney said that Republicans should drop their opposition to a minimum wage hike.

“I think we oughta raise it,” Romney said. “Because frankly, our party is all about more jobs and better pay and I think communicating that is important to us.”

Excuse me? What was that?

He continued saying, “For all the Republicans who come on and talk about, ‘we’re for the blue-collar worker, we’re for the working person,’ there are some basic things that we should be for. One of them is a reasonable increase from time to time in the minimum wage.”

Romney did make sure to clarify that he does not support the legislation that is being pushed by Obama and Senate Democrats because it goes “too far and too fast.”

Tim Pawlenty and Rick Santorum have even come out in the last two weeks in support of some sort of minimum wage increase. They claim that saying we are for the blue-collar worker and then not supporting a hike in the minimum wage, makes no sense.

What is going on with the major leaders of the Republican Party? And if they are the ones supporting the hike, is it something we should actually be looking at? The only issue here is, all three of these people are part of the old Republican Party, people that don’t have a chance at the White House. These are all things to consider.

At least what we know for sure is that none of them support how far the president’s plan goes in hiking the minimum wage. Perhaps there is hope.
