Marc,
While you are correct in saying, "the Highest Law is the US Constitution,
it is the Supreme Court who functions as guardian and interpreter of the Constitution.
“We must never forget that it is a constitution we are expounding . . . intended to endure for ages to come, and consequently, to be adapted to
the various crises of human affairs.”
Chief Justice Marshall

yes, we are either a Nation of Laws of we are not.
and the Highest Law is the US Constitution, from which all others are derived.
seems the people you suport (dems) lost sight of that a long time ago...
it is We The People in whose hands the Power Of Goverment rests.
not the politicians
not the unions
not the people being lied to, being told they can have free lunch at the expense of others.
you and your ilk do NOT have the right to use the power of the vote to steal from others.
and taking from one group to give it to another is STEALING!!!!!!!
there are legit functions of the Federal Goveemnt and you and those you seems to support long ago went beyond what was both good and...

Did you catch the dancing fool, AKA the Hammer, Tom Delay, today telling CNN's Candy Crowley that Charlie Rangel is being 'railroaded,' just like he was.

The light skinned N who Reid voted for because he did not have a black dialect is about to claim a VICTORY IN IRAQ? Wasn't this the first issue he and Oprah used to site 'sound judgement is better than experience?'. Reid should at least blush when he makes these remarks. he seems senile to me.
The Mullah in Chief may have 'accepted Reids' apology but american remembers all the 'remarks' reid has made including the 36K jobs.
Reid - if your family is among the 36K losing jobs that number is great. Let me put it another way - if waterboarding 3 jihadists caused you and the Mullah to be OUTRAGED then 36K americans losing their jobs should at a minimum make you focus on jobs instead of this ill fitted health care over haul that...

It seems very few people appreciate the "classics" anymore. Apparently the "maroon" reference is beyond the limited experiences of Demonrats like Elin.

For all the bleating and squealing about Iraq, it was a military necessity.
Thank Bush for that. We needed an ally in the global war on terror, or man caused disasters.
Iraq gives us a platform to operate from in the middle east, and 0'dufus is ready to walk away.
What an arrogant idiot obama is.
Bush had the vision, and despite the missteps it is a success.
O'shiite for brains voted present.

There is no problem with the civilian leadership talking frankly among themselves--or with the American people, for that matter.
It turns out that Reid was wrong about the surge and Bush was right. And, under the Obama administration, we are seeing a sensible and honorable winding down of this piece of stupidity. But it should also be noted that Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld opposed overwhelming force when it really counted, during the early months and years of the war. That decision cost our country big-time, in terms of lives lost, dollars wasted, and squandered national honor. Bush only came around to the surge when it was the only alternative to withdrawal.
The surge of 2007 worked, alright. I am the first to...

Since they've killed Yucca Mtn. why don't we take ole Harry out there and bury him up to his neck.
The ants, snakes, lizards and buzzards deserve a good meal,if they can keep it down.
Of course we'll first need to file an environmental impact statement and get a waste disposal permit.

politically speaking. He'll try and foist commie care on the country as he is thrown out of office even though 2/3 of the nation doesn't want it.
And as long as the captains of industry can't tell what the hell is coming out of Washington we ain't gonna recover. Simple as dat.
We'll keep on keepin on with the 15 to 20% unemployment cuz dats how they do it across the pond, and in California and Michigan etc etc.
It's a liberal nirvana. Subjects dependent on the govmint. Think New Orleans, only nation wide. Social chaos and no national defense.
We'll be living bill ayers dream. And a Chavez lovin thug from chicago in the White House with a "civilian national security force" to put the screws to ya if you...

Ensure you know the difference. If Congress passed a law, and the SC approved, requiring the death of every third person to reduce carbon emissions, would you comply? A more realistic example, the Kelo decision. Be assured, should some government bureaucrat come to my house waving that around, I would declare it an unlawful order, and react accordingly.

"What a maroon" is exactly what we'd expect from someone who signs his name in LOL twittereez.
In the inimitable wingnut fashion, you should've said: "What a moran". That is your mark in the history of wingnuts --- being illiterate ignoramuses.

If he had a brain he'd be dangerous! He is one, of many, reasons the Dems/Libs are heading for disaster in the 2010 elections.
Let's hope the Repubs grow up and start behaving responsibly.
