The book is about the trials Winston Churchill faced in his political life, including defeating Nazi Germany and trying to fight off Soviet communism abroad, and socialism from within England.

Arnn is president of the prestigious Hillsdale College. Hillsdale College is located in central Michigan and are leading a revolution of sorts educating the country on constitutionalism, and have one of the fastest growing and influential statesmanship programs in the country, including their Kirby Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship, located in Washington, DC.

Dr. Arnn has a PhD in Government from the Claremont Graduate School, studied International History at the London School of Economics, and then in Modern History at Oxford University. While there, he served as director of research for the late Sir Martin Gilbert, the official biographer of Winston Churchill. He also started the prestigious Claremont Institute, an American conservative think tank.
