WATCH: Obama Single-Handedly Crushes The Soul of An Entire Country

Canada's panda-cuddling Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in town for an official state visit. On Thursday, President Obama welcomed Trudeau to the country, and didn't hold back with the hockey trash talk.

WATCH: President Barack Obama goofs around with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau: "Where's the Stanley Cup right now? I'm sorry, is it in my hometown?" http://abcn.ws/1Zz36fK

“There are some things we will probably never agree on. Whose beer is better, who’s better at hockey,” Obama said.

Standing beside Obama, Trudeau shook his head, waved his finger and said, “Don’t get me started.”

“Where’s the Stanley Cup right now?” Obama asked. “I’m sorry, is it in my hometown with the Chicago Blackhawks? In case you Canadians were wondering, where is it?”

HAH! BOOM. Who knew Obama's chirp game was so strong? I must say, I'm impressed. Obama went straight for the jugular, and it was perfect.

While Canada has won the last two Olympic gold medals (including an overtime win in the gold medal game over the United States in 2010 that I'm admittedly still quite bitter about), a Canadian-based NHL team has not won the Stanley Cup since 1993, when the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Los Angeles Kings in the Stanley Cup final. Since 1993, Canadian teams have lost five times in the Stanley Cup finals, and this is the longest cup drought in the country's history.
