Obama Releases Earmarks Requests

As things heat up on Capitol Hill over a vote on Jim DeMint's one-year earmark ban, Barack Obama's Senate staff has finally released his 2005 and 2006 earmarks requests.

They are all available HERE on the tenacious Chicago Sun-Times reporter Lynn Sweet's blog.

Warning: when I put them all in a word document Obama's earmarks requests ran  51 pages long.
