A majority of New Jerseyans say they would not vote to give Gov. Chris Christie (R) a second term, according to a poll released Wednesday.

Fifty-one percent said they will probably or definitely vote for another candidate while 39 percent said they will probably or definitely vote for Christie, a Bloomberg poll shows. That number rises to 53 percent among a sample of likely New Jersey voters; 42 percent of likely New Jersey voters say they'll vote for him.

Christie has repeatedly denied he wants to be president or vice president in 2012, saying that he's not ready for the job. It appears Christie will have to shift his focus to a potentially-tough reelection campaign in 2013.
