Biden Voters Can Clap Like Seals Because They Voted for Unaffordable Gas Prices

In the second and final Presidential debate of 2020, Joe Biden proudly announced he “would transition from the oil industry.” Trump seized the opportunity to make sure the American people heard what Biden had said. “That’s the biggest statement,” Trump exclaimed. “Because basically what he’s saying is he’s going to destroy the oil industry.”

In response, Biden neither walked back his claim nor denied it. In fact, he doubled down, saying “look, we have to move toward a net zero emissions.” It was a rare moment of honesty for Joe Biden. In fact, it was a campaign promise made that has been a campaign promise kept.

Gas prices in the United States are now the most expensive in our history. Lying Joe Biden is, of course, blaming the record breaking gas prices on Russia. On Tuesday, a reporter asked Biden if he had “a message for the American people on gas prices.” Biden nonchalantly responded, “They’re going to go up,” before asserting that he “can’t do much right now…Russia is responsible.”

Today Biden blames Russia, but back in October he blamed the oil companies. While the scapegoat has changed, Biden’s refusal to accept responsibility has remained the same.

In October, when the national average for gas prices rose $1.08 over the previous year, Biden said, “My effort to combat climate change is not raising the price of gas.” More recently Biden insisted, “It’s simply not true that my administration or policies are holding back domestic energy production."

This is an abject lie. On Biden’s first day in office he declared war on American energy independence. He signed an executive order that cancelled the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, killing thousands of construction jobs and also the future transport of more than 800,000 barrels of oil per day to the United States from Canada.

Biden’s executive orders to combat ‘climate change’ also impacted present day oil production. On his first day in office, Biden also revoked “permits signed over the past four years;” in other words, under the Trump administration. But Biden’s war against American energy production didn’t end on January 20th, 2021.

Just this year, after Russia invaded Ukraine and we learned that the Biden administration had imported more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Russia, Biden paused new oil and gas leases in America.

Biden’s policies are directly responsible for our energy crisis in America. Not only is Biden responsible, his policies are intended to increase gas prices in America. But the pain is the point; part of a Democratic Party strategy to justify Biden’s forced “transition from the oil industry.”

Jen Psaki, Biden’s Chief propagandist admitted it during a February 27th appearance on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.” In the interview, Psaki claimed the energy crisis "justifies, in President Biden's view… the fact that we need to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, on oil in general, and need to -- and we need to look at other ways of having energy in our country and others.”

But this is precisely what Biden promised he would do if he was elected President. Now that he’s fulfilling his promise to destroy the American oil industry and transition us away from oil, he won’t take credit. Why?

Joe Biden and the Democrats are snake oil sales-pronouns. Not unlike the devil, who came to Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden and promised them knowledge — that they would be like God — if they ate the forbidden fruit, the Democrats promise paradise if we just do as the Democrats demand. In this case, it’s the abandonment of fossil fuels. If we just give up fossil fuels, our planet will be saved and a better, brighter future awaits.

But a better, brighter future doesn’t await us if we “transition away from the oil industry.” Like Adam and Eve, who fell for the serpent’s ruse, we are discovering that what awaits us on the other side of Biden’s ‘climate change ruse’ isn’t paradise as promised, but hell.

Like the serpent, Biden and the Democrats mask their destructive and malevolent intentions in the robes of virtue. They promise paradise but know the road leads to misery and pain. We are feeling that pain right now, but if Biden and the Democrats took responsibility for it, gullible Americans might begin to see them for the snakes and devils they are.

While the serpent approached Adam and Eve in paradise and used his cunning to convince them that an even greater paradise awaited them if they ate the forbidden fruit, Biden is using a flame thrower to light our paradise on fire in a calculated and insidious effort to convince us that hell is our only alternative.

If Biden’s intentions were noble and our future without oil was so paradisiacal, then Biden would take credit for the energy crisis he’s created. So too would the supposed 81 million Biden voters applaud the rising gas prices. After all, they voted for this.

The only acceptable response to unaffordable gas prices from Biden voters is applause. Trump warned you Biden would do this. Biden admitted he would do this. And now Biden is doing exactly what he promised he would do. Biden voters should clap like seals because they’re living in the dystopian hell they were promised; a hell they asked for.
