UPDATE: One Dead as Fire Breaks Out At Trump Tower

Authorities are reporting that one person as died as a result of a fire that started in Trump Tower at around 5:30 PM ET. The fire, originally reported as a  three alarm fire, escalated to a four alarm fire. Three firefighters also suffered injuries.

The fire department is currently responding to what has been labeled a three alarm fire from the 50th floor of Trump Tower in New York City. As soon as smoke emerged for the floors of President Donald Trump's former home, onlookers began tweeting out photos and videos of the blaze. 

According to media, at least one person has been seriously injured on the scene. 

Still, this did not stop some commentators from posting weird and salacious messages aimed at President Trump.

President Donald Trump tweeted his appreciation to the men and women who are currently working to stop the fire. 

This is now the second fire at Trump Tower this year. It is unclear what caused the incident today. This story will be updated when details come in.
