Giuliani Shreds Fani Willis’ Indictment to Pieces

Former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani ripped weaponized Fani Willis’ indictment against him to shreds after she attacked him, former President Trump, and several other allies.

Giuliani issued scathing remarks towards the politically motivated Fulton Country, Georgia, district attorney, questioning and mocking her legal competence.

The former Trump attorney revealed that he was made aware of Willis’ indictment weeks prior but chose to remain silent. Giuliani called the progressive DA “stupid,” accusing her of failing to read crucial legal documents about the case.

“You know how many mistakes she made in that indictment? Do you know how she made it so much more possible to remove the case? Because she’s so damn stupid, she didn’t bother to read 28 USC 1442,” Giuliani said. “I don’t even think she knows what the RICO statute is.”

Giuliani argued that Willis’ incoherency made the legal process easier for him, adding that she could have modified the indictment so that it would have been more challenging to move the case to a federal court, adding that while the case might have been won, her mistakes put a corkscrew in that.

On Monday, prosecutors charged Trump, Giuliani, and several others, alleging their involvement in a criminal group that breached Georgia’s racketeering regulations. It also alleges that they participated in providing false information, posing as a public official, and plotting to deceive the state.

The charges also include breaching the state’s RICO Act and allegedly urging a public official to break their oath.

Willis claimed the charges were “fictitious” after the indictment was briefly posted on the Fulton County court’s website before being removed. During a press conference on Monday, the DA was asked about the incident. However, she refused to address reporters on the matter.

“On August 14, a media outlet using the Fulton County press que obtained a docket sheet and shared it with other media outlets who then released the sample working document related to the former United States President, Donald Trump — reporting that an indictment had been returned by the Special Grand Jury,” Willis’ office said.

But less than 24 hours later, Willis’ office claimed that the uploaded document was a “trial run” conducted by Fulton County clerk Che Alexander.

Several legal analysts note that Trump will likely point to the accidental release of the document when asking for a mistrial.
