Ellison to Be Sworn in on Jefferson's Copy of Koran

All right, you gotta admit, that's good.

Background on this issue:

First, Dennis Prager said Ellison shoudn't use the Koran instead of the Bible.

Then, a bunch of people, including myself and Michael Medved, here on Townhall, disagreed.

Then, Rep. Virgil Goode of Virginia jumped into a fight that has almost died down and ignited that sucker again with a letter to consituents that read “if American citizens don’t wake up and adopt the Virgil Goode position on immigration there will likely be many more Muslims elected to office and demanding the use of the Koran."

And, now, Ellison will be using Jefferson's Koran. Jefferson, by the way, born in the same area Goode represents. I don't like Ellison, but dang that's clever.
