Unreal: Obama "Truth Team" Ad Claims Obama Never Said "You Didn't Build That"

Panic much?  Here is Team Obama's hilariously pathetic attempt to deflect Mitt Romney's body blows against the president's statist comments from last weekend.  The president has gone from "you didn't build that" to "I didn't say that:"

Simply incredible. The spot shows a clip of Romney reading a verbatim Obama quote, then snarks: "The problem? That's not what [Obama] said."  Twenty seconds later, the ad shows the clip of Obama saying precisely what his "truth team" just claimed he never said.  They can try to spin that Obama didn't really mean what he said (we dealt with that point earlier), but to assert that he didn't say it at all must even make old hands Kremlin blush.  He said it.  It's in your own ad, guys.  But by all means, please continue to explain that Obama didn't say what he plainly said and that Mitt Romney actually agrees with it, or something.  Good luck with that.  Meanwhile, conservative groups are stepping up a barrage of substantive criticisms of this failed presidency.  American Crossroads does a marvelous job exposing the reasons why Obama has resorted to dishonest smears of Mitt Romney:

The RNC is exhibiting a lighter touch, dinging Obama over a story we hit yesterday.  It revealed that Obama has been too busy to meet with his jobs council for six straight months, and counting:

And by the way, Obama is again insinuating that he was outspent in 2008.  Keep digging.

UPDATE - Who's doing the snipping now?
