Steve Capus’ MSNBC Insults USA’s Fallen Heroes

Steve Capus, President of NBC News, continues to tolerate MSNBC’s unprofessional, insensitive, and now unpatriotic ways.  This weekend MSNBC host Chris Hayes insulted parents and families of American soldiers whose sons gave their lives in service to their country by saying their military service and death at the hands of an enemy does not automatically qualify them to be a hero.  Hayes said calling these soldiers who gave their lives for our county “heroes” almost provides “justification for more war.”  The conservative blogosphere exploded this weekend and last night Chris Hayes issued a weak apology.

Not only was this insulting to all Americans but to say it the day before Memorial Day on national television is unconscionable.   Why is Mr. Hayes still employed by Steve Capus and when will Steve Capus apologize to us for filling the airwaves with Chris Hayes and the other nuts at MSNBC?

Can NBC parent General Electric and their CEO Jeffrey Immelt remain silent about this or Brian L. Roberts the CEO of Comcast?   When will GE realize Steve Capus does not have the ability to corral the crazies at MSNBC?

And what does Tom Brokaw have to say about this?   Surely he can’t remain silent about Chris Hayes comment.  Can someone at NBC News get Mr. Brokaw into the studio to school Chris Hayes about all those fallen “heroes” from the greatest generation and from our recent conflicts?

MSNBC is out of control and NBC News President Steve Capus is the man military families should contact if they wish to complain about Chris Hayes insult.

In the meantime a “very angry” Steve Newton of The Silver Star Families of America called on Chris Hayes to resign or be terminated for his recent comments on MSNBC.
