Sounds Like Obama's Managing Expectations

Hillary Clinton sounded a bit more confident than Barack Obama in their dueling interviews on MSNBC’s Morning Joe today.

Obama said Super Tuesday “will not be decisive. I think we still have a lot of contests. Keep in mind, only half of the states will have cast their votes after tonight.”

Hillary, on the other hand, was much more buoyant. “I’m excited,” she said. “I hope everyone gets out and votes and helps pick the next President.”

She also entertained a standard “what about Bill” question from Joe. Unfortunately, the question did not include any hard-hitting points, like “Why was Bill brokering uranium deals in Kazakhstan in 2005?”

So, she got away with another throw away answer. “I don’t think there will be any doubt who will wear the pantsuits in the White House,” she said. “It’s my campaign.”
