REPORT: Armed Suspect Reportedly Shot and Killed During Struggle With Border Patrol

A Border Patrol-involved-shooting occurred in Minneapolis on Saturday morning which killed 37-year-old Alex Pretti.

The shooting occurred as numerous agents struggled with an individual identified as Pretti on the ground. Bystander video shows the agents wrestling with Pretti before numerous shots are heard and Pretti collapses.

Law enforcement sources have revealed that Pretti was allegedly armed at the time of the incident.

Pretti received medical treatment at the scene and then was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.

The Department of Homeland Security quickly released a statement following the incident claiming that Pretti confronted federal agents with a Sig Sauer handgun. Agents attempted to disarm the individual, but Pretti violently resisted. An agent, fearing for his life and the lives of his fellow officers, fire defensive shots into Pretti.

Protesters quickly surrounded the scene and began shouting at law enforcement, who had the roped off the area and posted officers to contain the scene. Crowd control measures were employed to keep the protestors at bay.

Local police are reportedly absent amid the chaos caused by the leftist agitators, leaving federal agents to fend for themselves.
