Will Trump-Skeptic Republicans Hop on the MAGA Train?

Earlier this month, noted anti-Trump commentator Jonah Goldberg shared that he’d been speaking with other Republicans who can’t stand the former president. Yet, Joe Biden’s shambolic agenda is pushing them toward the MAGA camp. Biden’s cutting off arms shipments to Israel is a major point of contention with this core. It’s entirely anecdotal, but it’s something to watch given Donald Trump’s guilty verdict in the sham hush money trial in Manhattan. And lo and behold, the dam has broken anecdotally.

If you didn’t know who these people were, they made their outrage known on social media yesterday:

Not all these people will support Trump, but there has been notable outrage over the whole trial, which reflects the polling. Most Americans don’t think the former president could get a fair trial and see right through the Left’s lawfare with this hush money ploy. It’s also backfiring tremendously. Trump hasn’t only gone up in the polls since this cockamamie trial began.

For most of the country, whatever the outcome isn’t going to change their minds come November. As CNN put it, the country doesn’t care. What people do care about is the rule of law, and most see this legal action by Bragg to be a political operation aimed at trying to damage and jail Joe Biden’s political opponent.
