UPDATE
President Trump responded to Twitter's decision, saying the social media giant is now interfering in American elections.
.@Twitter is now interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election. They are saying my statement on Mail-In Ballots, which will lead to massive corruption and fraud, is incorrect, based on fact-checking by Fake News CNN and the Amazon Washington Post....

....Twitter is completely stifling FREE SPEECH, and I, as President, will not allow it to happen!

ORIGINAL POST
On Tuesday morning, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to express his disdain with absentee voting, something more states are considering in the midst of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. Trump echoed Republicans' concerns about potential voter fraud.
There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent. Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed. The Governor of California is sending Ballots to millions of people, anyone.....

....living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there, will get one. That will be followed up with professionals telling all of these people, many of whom have never even thought of voting before, how, and for whom, to vote. This will be a Rigged Election. No way!

Roughly 10 hours later Twitter fact-checked the tweet.

1. Mail voting fraud is extremely rare, and some experts consider it to be safer than in-person voting because paper ballots can't be hacked.
— Grace Segers (@Grace_Segers) May 26, 2020
2. Most studies find that voting by mail doesn't help one party over another.
3. President Trump voted by mail in the Florida primary. https://t.co/uP7aPXfimM
This is false. Over the last two decades, about 0.00006% of total vote-by-mail votes cast were fraudulent. https://t.co/MUnPTCQOOG https://t.co/VcZaPf1kHt

Five states, including deep red Utah, already conduct elections almost entirely by mail, and only evidence of mail-in election fraud Trump has been able to cite is a "pants on fire" lie https://t.co/i5Yljdh9yD https://t.co/QBf5NCNqqZ

Oregon has been voting *entirely* by mail since 1998. Gov. Kate Brown said it makes her blood boil to hear Trump’s fearmongering about fraud as it is “virtually nonexistent.”

The president keeps escalating his false claims about mail in voting. What evidence is there that “mail boxes will be robbed?” What does that even mean? And ballots are being sent to registered voters, not “anyone living in the state.” https://t.co/4aRrOVz0NW

Trump has repeatedly lied that illegal immigrants are voting en masse in CA. Now falsely saying CA is sending ballots to "anyone living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there." Sure doesn't seem like accidentally loose language. https://t.co/qYmjNH7QxR

80% of Nebraskans who voted in our May primary voted by mail. Voting by mail is secure. It's effective. It led to record turnout. https://t.co/KLI6ftsx7b

Apparently if the Washington Post or CNN says absentee voting doesn't have fraud, then it's fact. Twitter must not have heard Alabama's Secretary of State say – on CNN – that fraud has taken place in their state.
