More About the Person Who Single-Handedly Decided to Shake Up California's 25th Congressional Special Election

Democrats are clearly worried about losing seats, especially in the House of Representatives, after Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) allowed an impeachment witch hunt to take place. Democrats have to work to keep every seat, and right now their focus is on California's 25th Congressional District, the seat that's been vacant since last fall when Rep. Katie Hill resigned after the House Ethics Committee launched an investigation into her personal life. She was allegedly having an affair with her Legislative Director, Graham Kelly, and a throuple relationship with a female campaign staffer.

In a last-minute decision, the Los Angeles County Democratic Party asked the registrar to add an additional polling location in the city of Lancaster, citing concerns about the need to "ensur[e] that every voter has the opportunity to exercise their right to vote, change their voter registration and more, especially in communities of color."

Los Angeles County Recorder, Dean Logan, agreed with the decision and established an additional polling location in Lancaster. Looking deeper into his Twitter history, it's not all that surprising. After all, Logan is a Democrat himself – and someone who supports Joe Biden. Of course, he would do everything in his power to advance his party's cause.

As President Donald Trump said, it's time for Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) to get involved. But again, why would he want to act against his party?

If Democrats were so worried about the lack of access to voting, why would they wait until the last minute to call for an additional polling location? Wouldn't that be considered during their "get out the vote" initiatives and planning? Clearly that would have come up before the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.
