Pelosi Reveals Where Her Priorities Are on Wuhan Coronavirus Investigations

China lied, people died and all Democrats seem to be interested in is how to blame President Trump.

The communist government silenced physician whistleblowers; helped spread lies through willing international bodies like the World Health Organization, insisting there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission; destroyed research looking into the virus's genetic code; and closed down research facilities that published the virus's genome. On top of that, the Chinese government pushed conspiracy theories that the U.S. Army brought the virus to China.

The majority of U.S. intelligence agencies agree that evidence points to the virus coming from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

"I can tell you that there is a significant amount of evidence that this came from that laboratory in Wuhan," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Sunday.

Later on Sunday, President Trump explained that it looked as though China "made a horrible mistake and they didn't want to admit it."

And while Trump said a "very strong report" is forthcoming about the virus and its origins, which has killed more than 200,000 worldwide and wreaked economic havoc, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appears more interested in how the president can be blamed for the mess we're in.

"Yes, we want to know how this started," she said, "but we want to know what the president knew and when he knew it and what his administration did or didn't do about it."

As Sean Hannity reminded in March, Democrats were too busy distracting the country with impeachment to see real threats to the nation.

"January 21, the very first person with coronavirus arrived in the U.S. from China. That's not long ago. The same time, Democrats, what were they doing? They were in the throes of an all-consuming, what has been the culmination of a three-year quest to impeach and throw Donald Trump out of office, undo an election that they never accepted the results of in the beginning," Hannity said. "January 23, House impeachment managers, what were they doing? Oh, they were doing their opening arguments and impeachment. Same day, China completely sealed off the entire province of Wuhan. Then on January 31, look at this. The president then declared that national health emergency, ordered mandatory two-week quarantines. He issued the travel ban on all travel to and from China. And on that same day, what were the Democrats doing? They were busy with impeaching the president. They weren't caring. January 31, Senate Democrats desperately pushing for more impeachment witnesses, the day that Donald Trump put the travel ban quarantine in effect. Wow. It wasn't until February 5 that the impeachment charade was officially over and even then, many were plotting future impeachment investigations."
