CNN anchor Chris Cuomo denied on Wednesday he violated his self-imposed quarantine after being diagnosed with COVID-19 when he got into a verbal altercation with a stranger outside his second home. But according to CNN and his wife, that is not the case.
Cuomo replied to someone on Twitter who asked him how he "broke quarantine while having coronavirus?"
"Sure - it is just a lie. I was past quarantine. Was never in public," Cuomo replied.

The altercation was first reported by the New York Post, where Cuomo said a biker confronted him outside his home on Easter Sunday for breaking the lockdown. According to Cuomo's wife's blog about his battle with the Wuhan coronavirus, while he did not have a fever in the morning, he did have a 100-degree fever in the evening.
Joe Concha, a media reporter for The Hill, replied to Cuomo saying the issue is how he traveled from his home in Southampton, where he has been hosting his show in the basement, to his East Hampton home while still experiencing symptoms.
Chris - The question here is if you traveled with the family from your home in Southampton, where you were in quarantine and still experiencing a fever, to East Hampton to visit a home you also own currently under construction when the confrontation with the bicyclist occurred.

What's more, CNN ran a segment on April 21 about Cuomo leaving the basement, giving the impression it was for the first time since he got sick, which is readily disprovable given the incident outside of his East Hampton home.
