Former Vice President Joe Biden finds himself enveloped in scandal, ironically of the very nature he claims to be against, as he ascends to the Democratic nomination for president.
Former Biden aide Tara Reade graphically alleges that then-Senator Biden assaulted her in an encounter in the United States Capitol.
Reade brought her story to the public nearly a month ago, but mainstream outlets have executed their best damage control efforts in defense of Biden, and Democrats who claim to “believe all women” in the cases of crimes of this nature are nowhere to be found. Aside from the interference that the media has run for Biden, shielding the American people from Reade’s claims against the presumed Democratic nominee, his records from his tenure in the Senate remain under lock at his alma mater, The University of Delaware. Biden donated the entirety of documents related to his tenure in the Senate, and they are being hidden, per The Washington Post:
The collection of documents that Biden donated to his alma mater fills 1,875 boxes and also includes 415 gigabytes of electronic records. It includes committee reports, drafts of legislation and correspondence...Starting in 2011 and for years after, the university had described the terms of the agreement as keeping the papers sealed “for two years after Biden retires from public office.” But this year, on the day before Biden announced his presidential campaign, the university changed the way that it described those terms...Instead of citing his departure from “public office,” the university said the documents would not be made public until two years after Biden “retires from public life” or after Dec. 31, 2019, whichever is later. It did not define what is considered “public life.”
The university then altered their definition of retiring from “public life,” indicating that running for office is included under such a definition.
GOP powerhouse group America Rising, which works to hold Democrats accountable, took notice of this, and is calling on the University of Delaware and Biden to release the documents.

The complaints that may shed light on this alleged sexual assault could sit in those very files.
Yet, Biden refuses to release a single document.https://t.co/uiDQhWHXQ1
During his tenure as vice president in the Obama administration, Biden spent a substantial amount of the second term in the White House championing the "It's On Us" movement, which worked to raise awareness about sexual assault. Biden also regurgitated Democratic talking points during the confirmation hearings for Justice Brett Kavanaugh, including the Left's "believe all women" standard for dealing with misconduct allegations. Now that the roles are reversed, and Biden is facing allegations that are substantially more credible than those brought against Justice Kavanaugh, the former vice president and self-proclaimed "champion" for women who are victims of these crimes, is nowhere to be found.
Biden has been exonerated of guilt by mainstream outlets, all of which assumed the guilt of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, on account of less credible allegations that could not be corroborated. The evidence present even without the documentation related to Biden’s tenure in the Senate is already damning, as more individuals corroborate Reade’s claims. Included in the documents could be tangible proof that Reade reported her story to superiors in Biden’s Senate office, as she claims she did, or any other evidence to support her story.
If Biden were a Republican slated to assume the party’s nomination for president, while facing credible allegations of sexual misconduct, the mainstream media and Democrats would waste no time calling for the university to unseal the documents related to his Senate career.
