Trump Rips Harvard For Taking Wuhan Coronavirus Relief Money

Speaking from the White House Tuesday evening, President Trump called on Harvard University to return $9 million they received as part of the CARES Act, which was supposed to be about providing emergency relief funding for those who need it most.

"Harvard has I think a $40 billion endowment, some incredible amount of money and Harvard gets this money? Harvard should pay the money back. I want Harvard to pay the money back, okay?" he continued. "They have to pay it back. I don't like it."

Trump implied if they didn't give the money back, the administration would take action against the university in some other way.

Harvard responded to the controversey about receiving the funding earlier this week. Their excuse, while sitting on a multi-billion dollar back-up, did not go over well.
