Beto Had a Total Meltdown Over Trump's Decision to Temporarily Halt Immigration

Late Monday night President Donald Trump tweeted that he would be halting immigration to the United States during the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. He expanded on that decision during Tuesday's White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing, saying immigration will be suspended for the next 60 days.

Failed presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke (D) took to Twitter to criticize the president's decision. Beto made the claim that Trump is "attempt[ing] to distract us from his total mismanagement" of the Wuhan coronavirus.

Warning: Graphic language.

Beto, you should come to the rest of flyover country. There are plenty of American-born citizens who work on farms. It's not an abnormal thing. Stop running with the idea that white people are against doing hard labor. It's not the case.

The focus right now needs to be on keeping the American people safe and prosperous first. This isn't about keeping others from becoming American citizens. Right now this is about stopping the spread of a deadly virus. We've shut down flights from China, the UK and the EU. This is a rather natural progression and, quite frankly, one that probably should have been done earlier in the pandemic.
