Watch CNN's Don Lemon Throw A Tantrum Over John Kasich's Refusal to Slam Trump's Wuhan Virus Speech

The Wuhan virus is now a pandemic. It’s not as bad as Swine Flu, which infected some 60 million Americans and killed over 12,000 in 2009. It’s nowhere near as bad as the seasonal flu, which infects tens of millions of Americans each year resulting in thousands of deaths. This year along, 32-49 million Americans were infected with the flu, with an estimated 18-50,000 deaths from it. This isn’t an apocalyptic viral infection, folks. But the liberal media and their irresponsible reporting have caused panic in the markets. The dishonest press has caused more damage than the virus, but they also want Trump gone this year. If it means wrecking businesses and livelihoods—they will do it. That’s how deadly Trump Derangement Syndrome can be when it latches onto its host, which are entirely made up of liberals. Okay—maybe some Never Trump Republicans who are pretty much Democrats now anyway.

The president announced that all incoming travel from mainland Europe will be banned for 30 days starting Friday at midnight. The United Kingdom is not included in this ban (via ABC News):

"To keep new cases from entering our shores, we will be suspending all travel from Europe to the United States for the next 30 days," Trump declared during a prime-time address to the nation from the Oval Office Wednesday night.

[…]

"We are marshaling the full power of the federal government and the private sector to protect the American people," Trump said, emphasizing that the pandemic started off of U.S. shores, and specifically pinpointing China.

Even as the president sought to reassure a jittery public that "this is not the financial crisis" and is "just a temporary moment of time that we will overcome together as a nation and as a world," he called for a series of dramatic stimulus actions to prop up the American economy from the side effects of the virus.

"To ensure that working Americans impacted by the virus can stay home without fear of financial hardship I will soon be taking emergency action, which is unprecedented, to provide financial relief," the president said.

He specifically ordered the Treasury Department to defer tax payments without interest or penalties for certain impacted individuals and businesses and called on Congress to provide "immediate" payroll tax relief, in addition to other measures.

Of course, CNN was there to ensure it kept its title of ‘enemy of the people.’ The post-speech coverage was unhinged. We have Jim Acosta saying the speech was xenophobic because Trump pointed out the Wuhan Virus originated in…China. And now Don Lemon had a tense interview with former Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich because the former 2016 candidate didn’t bash the president's address from the Oval Office. It was actually a meltdown. Another tantrum from one of CNN’s most anti-Trump hosts. It was par for the course. Newsbusters, the division of the Media Research Center that tracks liberal media bias, has been burning the candles at both ends with all of this nonsense and clipped and transcribed the exchange. Grab some popcorn. Here are some of them:

DON LEMON: So, here’s the breaking news. President Trump addressing the nation from the Oval Office as the coronavirus is spreading -- sweeping across this country. Saying that he is banning travel from Europe to the U.S. for the next 30 days. That is everyday life in this country is changing in ways none of us could have imagined.

So, let's bring in now CNN senior commentator, John Kasich, the former governor of Ohio. John, thank you so much. Listen, President Trump announced he was suspending travel from Europe to the U.S. CNN got clarification that it was about most foreign nationals, not U.S. residents. The President misrepresented the travel ban during his primetime address. And we're getting all of these mixed messages. So give me your thoughts.

FMR. GOVERNOR JOHN KASICH: Well, look, I watched the address tonight. And I thought it was fine. I thought he did -- he did fine. And, you know, what I saw tonight is what I anticipated before he delivered the address. Mr. President, you've got to be serious. You got to warn the country. We have to move forward. And -- and just be -- stick to the script and read what's on there. And that's exactly what he did.

(…)

I was on with you -- I don't know a week or so ago. And I was sharply critical. Then I was on again and I said I think they're getting their sea legs, they're doing better. I'm glad he did the address tonight. And I think that was important.

(…)

LEMON: Well, listen. The governors can't make choices if there are no test kits. If the test kits that the federal government has promised aren't out there, then those governors can't make choices. And you said -- listen, you said the President should stick to the script. I don't know if he stuck to the script or not. But whatever script he read was wrong because they've had to clarify it several times!

And I just got to say. If the President came out to calm people's fears, he didn't do a good job of it because they've had to come back and clarify it several times! And this has been going on long enough for them to get it straight! We need straight, accurate information from this President! And this administration! And we're not getting it! And I don't understand why you are tiptoeing around it! He came out, gave an address that usually -- that happens very rarely, and he doesn't get it right?!

KASICH: I'm going to -- first of all, he read it. And somebody that wrote this -- look, I don't want to get into that. He --

LEMON: Well, why not?! That's why you're here! To talk about the President’s address!

KASICH: Can I finish now?

LEMON: But, no, no, no, no, no! No, you can’t, John!

KASICH: Let me talk. Let me talk.

LEMON: John, because we’re here to talk about the President's --

KASICH: I can't talk?

LEMON: Wait! We’re here -- I don't want you to go on and deflect and talk about something else because we are here to talk about the President's address! And -- and you said that someone else wrote it. He's the President! Even if someone else wrote it, it should be right!

KASICH: I know he did and he has to be-- Don. Don. He put -- he put this thing out because there was some confusion out there. Okay?

LEMON: Now, there's more confusion, John!

Yeah, this post-speech coverage is why CNN is one of the most anti-Trump networks out there. Period. You all know this of course. So, please, CNN kin, spare us with your whining about why you’re attacked by the president and his allies. You earn the ‘CNN sucks’ chant today, tomorrow, and every day for the next millennia.

Also, liberals keep hyperventilating about the tests. Well, we have one. Score one for America and those who love this country. To the liberal media and those who wish to use the Wuhan Virus and its death to spread fear in the hopes of hurting Trump's re-election chances—go to hell.
