Biden Forgets What Show He's On After Saying He'd Make Trump Look Sleepy in Debates

Immediately after telling Fox News's Chris Wallace on Sunday that he would make Donald Trump look sleepy in the presidential debates, Joe Biden forgot what national television show he was on.

"I can hardly wait to debate him on stage. I want people to see me standing next to him and him standing next to me. We'll see who's sleepy," Biden said sleepily.

"Mr. Vice President," Wallace said, "thank you. Thanks for your time. Please come back in less than 13 years sir," referencing the amount of time since Biden last appeared on the show.

"Alright, Chuck. Thank you very much," a confused Biden said.

"Uh, it's Chris but anyway," Wallace corrected the candidate.

A startled Biden interjected, "I mean Chris. I just did Chris. No. No. I just did Chuck. I tell you what man. These are back to back. Anyway. I don't know how you do it early in the morning, too."

Biden was probably trying to say he just did Chuck Todd's NBC show, but who knows. The 77-year-old seems to be having more trouble than usual stringing a sentence together.

While campaigning in South Carolina, which he did for a long time, Biden repeatedly told people he was running for the Senate. He also said he was looking forward to appointing the first African American female senator, an impossibility both in terms of a president being able to appoint a senator and the fact that the first African American senator was elected in 1992. He then confused South Carolina with North Carolina.

Now that Pete Buttigieg is expected to leave the race, Biden may emerge from Super Tuesday as the moderate alternative to socialist Bernie Sanders. The Democrats are screwed.
