WATCH: President Trump Has a Message for the 'Do Nothing Democrats'

President Donald Trump on Tuesday night held his first rally since the impeachment trial against him began. Roughly 175,000 people gathered in Wildwood, New Jersey to hear the president speak. Although he was addressing a room of supporters, he made one thing very clear: the Democrats can continue with their sham impeachment process but they will face the ramifications when voters head to the polls in November.

"While we are creating jobs and killing terrorists the Congressional Democrats are obsessed with demented hoaxes, crazy witch hunts and deranged partisan crusades," Trump said during the rally. "That's all they know to do. The do nothing Democrats. They've spent the last three years, and probably even before I came down on that beautiful escalator with our beautiful future First Lady, trying to overthrow the last election and we want to make sure they face crushing defeats in the next election. We're going to have even greater [results] than in 2016."

Trump also made it very clear that "the Democratic Party is now the party of high taxes, high crime, open borders, late-term abortion, socialism and blatant corruption."

And it's the reason people are leaving the Democratic Party en masse.

"The American people are disgusted by the Washington Democrat – you've seen them," he told the crowd. "Which is worse, the impeachment hoax or the witch hunts from Russia?"

"We're going to be signing up millions and millions of registered independents [and] Democrat voters," Trump said. He also reminded the crowd that as of Tuesday he had the best poll numbers since being elected.

"Americans of all beliefs are sick and tired of the radical, rage-filled socialists," he said. "...the Democrat Party really is the Socialist Party. Voters are making a mass exodus from that party and we're welcoming them to the Republican Party with wide-open arms.
