ICYMI: CNN Interviewed Iranian VP Who Once Threatened to Shoot Americans in the Head

CNN recently gave airtime to an Iranian vice president and terrorist sympathizer who previously vowed to shoot Americans in the head during the hostage crisis in 1979. Massoumeh Ebtekar was interviewed by CNN's Christine Amanpour about Iran's reaction to the death of terrorist Qasem Soleimani who was killed in a U.S. airstrike last week.

Ebtekar described Soleimani as a "martyr" and accused the United States of committing a "terrorist action" by ordering his death. Soleimani was responsible for killing hundreds of Americans and was actively plotting to kill many more. Ebtekar characterized the Iranian people's response to the U.S. airstrike as a "revival of the Islamic revolution" and a "revival of the Iranian nation."

Ebtekar also lamented the Trump administration's decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal, referring to the economic sanctions as another "terrorist action" committed by the United States. Ebtekar repeated what other Iranian officials have recently stated, that Iran is willing to honor the terms of the Iranian nuclear deal if economic sanctions are lifted by the United States.

CNN's Chirstine Amanpour failed to inform her viewers that the terrorist sympathizer once threatened to shoot American hostages in the head if the U.S. attempted a rescue during the Iranian hostage crisis in 1979. Amanpour described her guest only as a "revolutionary" and a "reformer."

During the Iranian hostage crisis, Ebtekar was a spokesperson for the Iranian students who took 52 Americans hostage in 1979. Ebtekar vowed to "destroy" the hostages in the event of an attempted rescue, saying she personally was prepared to shoot the Americans in the head.

The network that can't stomach having pro-Trump conservatives on its programming is more than willing to give airtime to a terrorist sympathizing, anti-American radical who has no qualms when it comes to shooting Americans in the head.
