Presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has a utopian vision that someday world nations might stop spending money on weapons and instead use those funds to fight climate change.
“And maybe just maybe when we think big, maybe, when young people all over the world not just here in Iowa or in the United States, but we’re seeing young people all over the world telling their leaders, ‘Hey, we want a planet that we can grow up in and have kids in that is healthy and inhabitable,’ he said, continuing, “Maybe when that global movement spreads, maybe just maybe, we can tell world leaders all over the planet that instead of spending $1.8 trillion a year on weapons of destruction designed to kill each other, maybe we can pool our resources and combat our common enemy, which is climate change.”

Instead of spending $1.8 trillion a year on weapons of destruction designed to kill each other, we should pool our resources with countries around the world to combat our common enemy of climate change.

In addition to promoting climate alarmism, advocating for a Green New Deal and looking toward a utopian world, Sen. Sanders also supports abortion.
Earlier this week he published a tweet in which he asserted that, “Abortion is a constitutional right – not a privilege for those who can afford it.”
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) shot back at Sanders today, pointing out that the topic of abortion does not appear in the Constitution. “To call abortion- wherein a baby dies - a ‘privilege’ is the worst case of casual devaluation of human life that I ever seen from a presidential candidate,” the Texas congressman said.

While former Vice President Joe Biden enjoys a significant lead over his fellow Democratic primary contenders in the RealClearPolitics poll average, Sen. Bernie Sanders comes in second place just ahead of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) who currently sits in third.
