Pelosi Announces Democrats Are Moving Forward With Impeachment

Update: Pelosi announced they are moving forward with impeachment.

“The facts are uncontested. The president abused his power for his own political benefit at the expense of our national security," she said. "The president leaves us no choice but to act."

"Sadly, but with confidence and humility ... today I am asking our chairmen to proceed with articles of impeachment," she announced.

Original Post:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will provide an update on “the status of the House of Representatives’ impeachment inquiry” at 9 a.m., her office said Thursday morning.

She will make the announcement in the Speaker’s Balcony Hallway.

President Trump urged the Democrats to move forward with impeachment quickly if they are going to do it.

"The Do Nothing Democrats had a historically bad day yesterday in the House. They have no Impeachment case and are demeaning our Country. But nothing matters to them, they have gone crazy," he said. "Therefore I say, if you are going to impeach me, do it now, fast, so we can have a fair trial in the Senate, and so that our Country can get back to business. We will have Schiff, the Bidens, Pelosi and many more testify, and will reveal, for the first time, how corrupt our system really is. I was elected to “Clean the Swamp,” and that’s what I am doing!"
