Elizabeth Warren's reputation as a liar appears to be catching up to her. A recent Quinnipiac University poll shows nationwide support for Warren's presidential candidacy has fallen 14 percent, putting the Massachusetts senator behind both Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg in national polling. A recent CNN survey also shows nationwide support for Elizabeth Warren plummeting from 19 percent to 14 percent.
When asked by reporters about her falling poll numbers in Iowa on Tuesday, Warren responded, "I don't do polls."
So that's that.
For anyone who hasn't noticed, Elizabeth Warren has made a clean break from reality. She honestly believes she can spend $52 trillion on her Medicare-for-all plan without raising taxes on the middle class. Warren spent months on the campaign trail lying to everyone about being fired from a previous job because she was visibly pregnant. And, of course, Warren claimed to be a full-blown Native American until a DNA test revealed she was only 1/1024th part Native American.

It is by now well established that Elizabeth Warren is a serial liar. She lied about her parents having to elope because of racism against her mother, who was white. She lied about being the first nursing mother to take the bar exam in New Jersey (which doesn’t keep such records). She lied about being a “single mom” when she met her second and present husband (she was still married, and had not yet filed for divorce). She lied about the death of Michael Brown, which was not a murder. ...
Warren's decline has been accompanied by Mayor Pete Buttigieg's rise in the race, but Buttigieg faces some strong headwinds of his own. The mayor has struggled to gain support from black Americans, including a prominent member on his own city council.
Buttigieg also botched the rollout of his "Douglass Plan," designed to help black Americans across the country. His campaign misrepresented the number of black Americans who had endorsed the plan and was criticized for using stock images of Kenyans on his campaign website to promote it. To make matters worse, in a recently-surfaced video from Buttigieg's mayoral race, the candidate suggests that minority children lack examples of a successful education, which has gone over like a ton of bricks in the black community.
Each of the candidates in the Democratic primary comes with some serious flaws. At some point, Democratic voters are just going to have to pick their poison and swallow it.
