Misinterpreted? ABC News Political Analyst Deletes Tweet Because People Thought He Trashed Elise Stefanik. You Decide.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) isn’t having any of Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) nonsense on this Trump impeachment push. She’s come out like a bat out of hell to call out the Democrats on their crap—and it’s tremendous. Stefanik has been a witness to Schiff’s secrecy antics since day one of this impeachment theater. Being on the intelligence committee, she was subjected to Schiff’s initial bunker protocol concerning impeachment, only allowing her to read summaries for hours’ worth of secret testimony. Oh, and she could only read these barebones documents in front of a Democratic staffer. If someone, who usually shies away from the limelight, is this aggressive in bashing the House Democrats’ impeachment circus—you know it’s an absolute clown show up there.

Stefanik isn’t drinking the Kool-Aid. She’s not kowtowing to the authoritarian ethos of the Left. She’s her own Republican self and that isn’t sitting too well with members of the liberal media.

On a side note, it’s well-documented that Republican or conservative women face endless abuse from trolls and the mainstream media.

‘They’re women, why aren’t they liberal’ is the common theme that pervades stories about GOP women. For ABC News’ chief political analyst, he decided to push this out into the Twitterverse that encapsulates what happens when those who are ‘supposed’ to be liberal divert from the herd.

“Elise Stefanik is a perfect example of why just electing someone because they are a woman or a millennial doesn’t necessarily get you the leaders we need,” wrote Matthew Dowd. Of course, this didn’t go unnoticed. He since deleted it saying that it was being “misinterpreted.” I’ll let you decide if that was the case.

From what I can see, it’s yet another exercise of the media elite telling a young, Republican woman that she’s trash because she’s not a liberal or pro-impeachment. Only liberal women give us the leaders we need or something. Yeah, an eye-rolling moment for sure.
