Rand Paul to the Media: Do Your Job and Print The Whistleblower's Name

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) took a jab at the mainstream media during President Donald Trump's rally in Lexington, Kentucky on Monday night. Paul flat out told the media to "do your job" and print the name of the Ukrainian whistleblower.

"President Trump has great courage. He faces down the fake media everyday," Paul said, at which point Trump laughed and pointed to the back of the room where reporters typically stand. "But Congress needs to step up and have equal courage to defend the president."

Paul reminded the crowd that Hunter Biden made $50,000 a month from Ukrainian gas company Burisma, despite having no natural energy experience.

"That's the definition of corruption," Paul said. "We know he only got it because of his family connections."

Hunter Biden previously admitted that the only reason he got any of his high profile jobs was because of his last name.

"We also now know the name of the whistleblower. The whistleblower needs to come before Congress as a material witness because he worked for Joe Biden at the same time Hunter Biden was getting money from corrupt oligarchs," he said. "I say tonight to the media: do your job and print his name!"

The crowd agreed with Paul's statement.

Following his speech, he followed up with a tweet, demanding Hunter BIden and the whistleblower be subpoenaed.

Donald Trump Jr. applauded Sen. Paul's stance, saying more people like him need to come forward.
