Pelosi Stopped In South Carolina For a Fundraiser But Was Greeted By Massive Crowd of Trump Supporters

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Friday arrived in Greenville, South Carolina for a speech at a fundraiser hosted by the South Carolina Democratic Party. What Pelosi probably wasn't expecting though was the number of President Donald Trump's supporters who would be there to welcome her to the Palmetto State.

Even though South Carolinians are upset with the House's decision to move forward with a formal impeachment inquiry into President Trump, Pelosi reiterated her position during her fundraiser speech.

“What we’re talking about here is not about personality, it’s not about policy differences — that’s to be taken up in the election,” Pelosi said. “This is only about the facts... and the Constitution of the United States.”

On top of being greeted by Trump supporters, Pelosi just created a bigger blunder. She gave Joe Cunningham a shout out at the beginning of her speech. His district, which includes Charleston, is historically conservative. Trump won the vote in 2016 by more than 12 percent and Cunningham is the first Democrat to hold the seat since 1981.

Pelosi put a target on Cunningham's back and there's nothing he can do to separate himself from the Left's impeachment inquiry. And voters are likely to hold him accountable.
