Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Only Want Two Kids Due To Climate Change

The Associated Press reports that British Royals Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are vowing to boldly fight against climate change by only having two children. The prince told primatologist Jane Goodall his family's plans while being interviewed for the September issue of Vogue Magazine.

Regarding climate change, he said that "we are already living in it. We are the frog in the water and it's already been brought to the boil." When asked about his family, Prince Harry said he would keep it small after Goodall suggested they have "not too many" kids.

He said "I view it differently now, without question. But I've always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children."

When Goodall added "Not too many," Harry said: "two, maximum."

As fellow countryman Piers Morgan pointed out, the promise really pales in comparison to how much carbon the family and their friends emit into the air each year.

Indeed, a recent report showed that "In 2019 its CO2 emission total for business travel was 3,344 tonnes, compared to 1,687 tonnes in 2018," according to CNN.

Aside from the actual math of the situation, LiveAction's Lila Rose pointed out the sadness in the Royal family's world view.

"Kids are never the problem. We don’t solve concerns of war, the economy or climate by rejecting the GIFT of kids," Rose tweeted, "We solve our problems by taking ownership for whatever our part is in them, & by using the creativity, gifts & talents we have to serve others & make the world better."
