President Trump has done it again. He has successfully goaded 2020 Democrat presidential candidates into defending one of the worst people in America.
After telling the truth about Baltimore's rat infestation problem over the weekend, race baiter and hoaxer Al Sharpton called President Trump a racist and pledged to visit the long forgotten, crime ridden city. Trump then responded.
Al Sharpton would always ask me to go to his events. He would say, “it’s a personal favor to me.” Seldom, but sometimes, I would go. It was fine. He came to my office in T.T. during the presidential campaign to apologize for the way he was talking about me. Just a conman at work!

President Trump: "I am the least racist person there is anywhere in the world…Al Sharpton, now he's a racist. He's a racist."

Democrats promptly leaped to Sharpton's defense, ignoring his long and troubling history with Louis Farrakhan, the truth, race and the law.
.@TheRevAl has spent his life fighting for what's right and working to improve our nation, even in the face of hate. It's shameful, yet unsurprising that Trump would continue to attack those who have done so much for our country.

.@TheRevAl has dedicated his life to the fight for justice for all. No amount of racist tweets from the man in the White House will erase that—and we must not let them divide us. I stand with my friend Al Sharpton in calling out these ongoing attacks on people of color.

.@TheRevAl is a champion in the fight for civil rights. The fact that President Trump continues to use the power of the presidency to unleash racist attacks on the people he serves is despicable. This hate has no place in our country. It's beneath the dignity of the office.

I've known @TheRevAl for decades and Trump's characterization is not only disrespectful, it's untrue. While @TheRevAl was pushing for justice in the teachings of Dr. King, Trump was calling for the execution of five innocent black boys. https://t.co/UhR1cpjpxj

A reminder of Sharpton's record:
Friendly reminder that Al Sharpton has refered to Jews as "bloodsucking Jews," "diamond merchants," and "white Interlopers." pic.twitter.com/oHD6Fh59zA

“I remember when Sharpton’s words nearly led to the deaths of my father & brother after his words had instigated the murder of Yankel Rosenbaum. So I can’t understand how he’s being blindly embraced by the Democrats who claim to seek social justice.” - Israel Bitton pic.twitter.com/2aJlMdwCBr

Between their defense of the "squad" and Sharpton, Democrats are really winning with their associations.
