Bill de Blasio To President Trump: You're Not Welcome Back In NYC

New York City Major Bill de Blasio (D) seems to think he can decide who can and cannot live in his city. In fact, during a BuzzFeed News event on Thursday night, de Blasio told Trump he would no longer be welcome back to the Big Apple once his presidency ends "very soon."

He also challenged Trump to a debate because, as de Blasio said, Trump doesn't understand New York City or what's best for the area.

“I challenge you, Donald Trump, to come to New York City, and I will debate you about what’s right for New York City. And BuzzFeed can host it!” de Blasio said.

“Because he doesn’t understand New York City. And when his presidency is over, really soon, he will not be welcome back in New York City!” the mayor said.

Apparently Mayor Bill thinks that because he runs the town that he can dictate who can and cannot live in the area. He must have missed the memo: that is not the case. President Donald Trump has the ability and free will to decide what city he calls "home." If Trump wants to go back to NYC after his presidency, that's his prerogative. Saying he's not allowed to come back is just a way of getting voters – especially crazy New York City progressives – riled up. He's not doing anything other than rallying up his base and annoying every middle-of-the-road voter. Congrats. Mission accomplished, Bill.

If a Republican mayor said this to a Democratic president, lefties would be up in arms over what took place. They would say the mayor is being biased. They would say the statement is somehow racist (even if both people are the same racist). Or the mayor has some kind of phobia: xenophobia, homophobia, and what ever other kind of phobia you can think of.

But conservatives expected to be the tolerant ones.
