Cory Booker's Iowa Press Sec Calls McConnell a 'Piece of S***' For Stating a Fact

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has himself a challenger when he runs for re-election in Kentucky. Former Marine fighter pilot Amy McGrath will be the one to try and unseat him next year, and progressives are already 100 percent behind her.

McConnell, whose admirers have taken to calling "Cocaine Mitch," has been a thorn in progressives' side the last few years. That may stem from when he blocked President Obama's Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland, paving the way for President Trump to nominate and confirm two of his own, more conservative choices.

McConnell is so hated by Democrats now, that presidential campaign officials are launching profanities at him. Tess Seger, the Deputy Communications Director for Sen. Cory Booker's (D-NJ) Iowa team, sent this shocking note on Tuesday.

Social media users said she should truly tender her resignation.

If Booker doesn't discipline his potty mouthed Iowa surrogate, perhaps he should at least condemn her language?

Others simply noted that McConnell was stating a fact. He and Obama are both descendants of slave owners and they have both come out against reparations.

"I think we’re always a work in progress in this country, but no one currently alive was responsible for that, and I don’t think we should be trying to figure out how to compensate for it," McConnell instead suggested.
