Senators: Planned Parenthood Was Referred for Criminal Prosecution After Selling Baby Parts, What is the FBI Doing About It?

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham and former Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley sent a letter to Attorney General Bill Barr and FBI Director Christopher Wray this week asking for an update on Planned Parenthood's sale of baby parts.

"On December 13, 2016, then-Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Charles Grassley referred eight organizations to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Justice (DOJ) for investigation and potential prosecution for violations of the law that bans the buying or selling of human fetal tissue," the letter states.

Eight organizations, including Planned Parenthood, was criminally referred.

"The [Senate] investigation found evidence suggesting that the buying or selling of human fetal tissue may have occurred, as demonstrated in billing records and procurement logs provided by the named organizations to the Committee. Additionally, the investigation uncovered facts that raise a reasonable suspicion that The Planned Parenthood Federation of America may have conspired with its affiliates to violate the fetal tissue law," the letter continues.

Graham and Grassley want to know if the FBI has taken any action on the criminal referrals from the Committee. If the FBI hasn't done so, they also want to know why.

Three years ago the Center for Medical Progress exposed Planned Parenthood for the sale of baby parts. Their practice was covered up by the Obama administration, elected Democrat officials, Planned Parenthood and the media.
