Twenty Democrats have successfully qualified for the first Democratic primary debates on June 26-27 in Miami.
To qualify, candidates had to earn at least 1% polling support in three different national or early-primary-state polls or receive donations from 65,000 donors from 20 different states, with a minimum of 200 unique donors per state. The Democratic National Committee caps the number of participants in the debates at 20.

Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet became the 20th Democratic candidate to qualify after a CNN poll released Tuesday showed him at 1% support. Montana Gov. Steve Bullock, who was originally thought to qualify after he made 1% in three national polls, lost his spot after it was reported that one of the polls didn't count.
If more than 20 Democratic presidential candidates qualify, the DNC will select candidates for the debates based on its tie-breaking system, a method combining both polling and fundraising data.
The 20 qualified candidates will be broken up into two groups based on polling data and then randomly assigned to a debate stage to avoid highest-polling candidates debating on the same night.
The first DNC debates will be held on June 26 and 27 and air on NBC, MSNBC, and Telemundo at 9 p.m. ET.
