Trouble Ahead? Progressive Darling AOC Writes Off Dem Presidential Candidate John Delaney

2020 Democratic presidential candidate John Delaney was booed at the California Democratic Party's convention this weekend for saying he's not in favor of Medicare for All.

"Medicare for all may sound good but it's actually not good policy nor is it good politics," Delaney said, followed by booing. "We should have universal health care. We should have universal health care but it shouldn't be a the kind of health care that kicks 150 million Americans off their health care."

Apparently convention goers weren't the only ones who had issues with Delaney's take. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) took to Twitter to dismiss Delaney's candidacy because of his stance on Medicare for All.

According to AOC, Medicare For All is "good politics" because "it polls VERY well in swing states."

Comments like AOC's are likely to push Democratic presidential candidates further to the left. The left is trying to out left one another. The further they go, the less they're able to relate to average, everyday Americans. And that's a win for Republicans (and President Trump).

The truth is, most Americans don't want Medicare for All. They've seen how horrible the government runs the VA and how much of a disaster Obamacare was. The last thing they want is more government intrusion in their health care.
