President Trump met with Twitter founder and CEO Jack Dorsey at the White House on Tuesday to reportedly discuss “the health of the public conversation on Twitter.”

According to a Twitter spokeswoman the two “discussed Twitter’s commitment to protecting the health of the public conversation ahead of the 2020 U.S. elections and efforts underway to respond to the opioid crisis."
Hours before the meeting the president was tweeting his complaints that the platform is “very discriminatory” against him and other conservatives.

According to the Washington Post, the topic of losing Twitter followers took up a “significant portion of the meeting.”
Dorsey reportedly explained that this happens as the company cracks down on spam accounts, even pointing out that he, too, has lost followers as their policies are enforced.
