Trump: Ilhan Omar is Extremely Unpatriotic and Yes, My Response to Her Was Appropriate

During a speech to the Council on American Islamic Relations (a front group for the terrorist organization Hamas) in March, Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar described 9/11 as "some people" doing "something." Last week, those comments went viral.

President Trump, who was in New York City on 9/11 and visited workers who cleaned up the attack site at Ground Zero, took notice.

That tweet, amazingly, sparked outrage against the President. Omar and Speaker Nancy Pelosi are holding him responsible for an alleged increase in death threats toward the Congresswoman.

During a rally stop in Minnesota yesterday (where Omar's district is), Trump was asked whether he regrets his response. His answer? Hell no, she absolutely deserved it.

"She's been very disrespectful to this country. She's been very disrespectful, frankly, to Israel. She is somebody who doesn't really understand real life, what it's all about. It's unfortunate. She's got a way about her that's very very bad I think for our country. She's extremely unpatriotic and extremely disrespectful to our country," Trump said during a local media interview.

Meanwhile, Fox News' Tucker Carlson took Omar to the woodshed last night for her ungrateful attitude toward the country that gave her refuge.
