Paris's Notre Dame Cathedral Is On Fire

Original Post: A massive fire broke out at the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris on Monday. It has not yet been confirmed what caused the fire but it may be related to recent construction.

According to Reuters, the cathedral was undergoing renovations.

“A terrible fire is underway at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris,” Mayor Anne Hidalgo said on Twitter.

President Trump tweeted about the incident, saying it was “horrible to watch” and offered some advice. 

“So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris,” the president said. “Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!”
